Client Review
“Equity and Impact Solutions (EIS) understood the monumental task - our overarching goal to infuse equity-centered inclusive best practices into the fabric of corporate organizations. They were experienced and authentic, which allowed them to work through the heightened sensitivities and the sphere of current corporate processes and procedures, in order to do the work. Having a trusted partner with whom you can step back has been huge! EIS kept us ‘community engaged’ and brought us invaluable best practices that have really helped challenge our strategy and approach. Their services such as storytelling with an equity-centered lens, strategic planning to determine how to best move forward with understanding, and how to merge all of this with best practices have been truly valuable.”

“I was new to the Director position, we were in survival crisis mode with responding to COVID, and we experienced high staff turnover. Those challenges delayed the teamwide strategic planning work I had intended as a way to build alignment, relationships, and trust. EIS brought a wealth of direct experience and had previously worked with health departments on HIV, STI, and hepatitis programs. Working with them to update the vision, mission, and values was the jump-off place for us to do some strategic planning work which we're continuing. We specifically highly- valued the focus on health equity and racial justice because that has been a core value of our program and we needed that perspective for our strategic planning. The process took longer because we had this huge staff who wanted to be involved, and it created incredible alignment. There was so much feedback, which in some ways, created enormous consensus. So, it really has been a great partnership!”
