REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: Brand Design
In its first year, EIS developed temporary brand elements that were essential for our public presence. Three years later, EIS is thriving with a growing client portfolio and team. We now believe this is the right time to create a new brand that reflects our values derived from Black woman ownership, client impact and success, and professional expertise of an all-women of color team.
CURRENT BRANDING SCENARIO
● When EIS was launched in 2020, we hired a designer to create some quick assets that were essential to market our work in our first year.
● As our work/client footprint and team have expanded, the team believes this is the right time to create a new and bold brand that carries us forward.
● EIS currently has a logo, brand colors reflected on the website, and a powerpoint slide deck. All these products will be redesigned as a part of the branding effort.
BRAND DESIGN NEEDS
● A digital design approach that incorporates best practices of screen viewing, readability, and strong visual aesthetic.
● A rethink and a full brand development; not a rebrand of existing identity
● A new logo with 3 elements: visual + name + tag line (TBD); need a composite and fragmented versions of the logo
● A look and feel that is:
○ Simple: Making it easy on the eye and uncomplicated to insert into various products – print and digital
○ Bold: Making it easy to identify and use without being enlarged to compete with text
○ Vibrant: Making it easy to pop visually and also contrast products that are text-heavy
